Bulletin: Aisling Brady McCarthy: Massachusetts; Medical examiner granted 30 more days to review evidence in the case of Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy who is accused of murdering a one-year-old child in her care in January 2013.

The Massachusetts medical examiner is continuing to review evidence in the case of Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy who is accused of murdering a one-year-old child in her care in January 2013. US Judge Maureen Hogan was told by lawyer David Meier, representing Ms McCarthy, that the medical review was still ongoing and that it would take at least another 30 days before it is completed. The judge had expected the medical review to be completed by now. Mr Meier said the medical examiner had indicated to him that the review might not be completed after a further 30 days and said another status hearing ahead of the long-delayed trial should be held in 30 days’ time.
