Nagee Green: New York; On-going trial. (Contesting of alleged confession at core of defence); Bulletin: Story headed: "Witness says defendant had knife, screamed ‘I kill out here."

STORY: "Witness says defendant had knife, screamed ‘I kill out here," by reporter Matt Weinstein, published by the Ithica Journal on June 7, 2017.

GIST: "A witness in the murder trial of Nagee Green told jurors in Tompkins County Court on Wednesday he saw the defendant with a knife during an altercation before the stabbing last August on the campus of Cornell University. Green, 23, of Freeville, is accused of fatally stabbing 19-year-old Ithaca College student Anthony Nazaire to death following a party on Cornell's campus in the early hours on Sunday, Aug. 28. Green has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault. Nazaire was stabbed once and classmate Rahiem Williams, who fully recovered, was stabbed three times in the back. Daniel Nunez was the third witness of the day and the sixth overall for the prosecution. Nunez, who will be a senior at Ithaca College and a member of the school’s Brothers 4 Brothers organization, which provides a safe space for minority students, along with Nazaire and Williams, described himself as a mentor to Nazaire because both were from the New York City area.  As the video ends, a voice can be heard saying “I kill out here" before trailing off."
